    Spot Remover Chartreuse

Can anyone tell me where I can find the light chartreuse silicon skirt material used in the Zman chatterbaits and War Eagle spinnerbaits "Spot Remover" color? I've looked at Skirts Plus and fishingskirts.com and came up empty. Lurepartsonline lists colors but doesn't show them. Zman makes replacement skirts, but they are the hole-in-one. I was looking to make a regular skirt for spinnerbaits and a swim jig in that color.

This is the spot remover color. No luck on the light chartreuse. The Chinese are using it in their chatterbait knock-offs, so someone has it.

Spot Remover is my favorite Jackhammer color. The color skirts that you posted is not really close at all for them but would probably work for a War Eagle spinnerbait. For the Jackhammer it's almost like a clear with a touch of chartreuse.

Yes, clear with a touch of chartreuse. Can't find it anywhere. Must be a closely guarded secret at Zman and War Eagle headquarters. It is a great very subtle color.

I notice that it is pretty clear that skirt might be a job Eric at skirt plus might be able to handle if you have several strands of that material and send it to them they are very good a matching colors to the tee. He has poured several colors for me only thing there bulk 1000 skirts. But it worth it to me because I buy a lot of skirt material anyways.

If it were me, I would throw few strands of chartruese skirts in with a clear/pearl glimmer skirt in a plano box and over time the colors from the chartruese skirts may bleed into clear/pearl strands to get what you are looking for.

Otherwise, diluting some spike it chartruese with clear may get a diluted chartruese color too.

    Hey all,
I’m the guy that posted on Tackle Underground about dying a clear strand with a watered down chartreuse/green plastic dye.

Unfortunately, we’ve realized that over time the dye wears off, so that isn’t a long term solution, probably because the strands are silicone and not plastisol.

That being said, the strands that DMoore showed above in his pic look spot on and I’m hoping he can chime back in and let us know where he sourced them.

I have been waiting on parts for my outboard so had some time to play with this. This is close to the original. The chartreuse is a little brighter.

Here is the recipe: One tab of FishingSkirts.com 132 (Shinner), 1/4-1/2 tab Spanker Jigs Pale Chartreuse, 1/4 tab Lure Parts Online Bass Academy Diamond Print Silver Shiner (001). Add the silver shiner to the top of the bait.

    Shinner: shinner | FishingSkirts.com

    Pale Chartreuse: Spanker Jigs™

Lure Parts Online: Bass Academy Diamond Print Skirt Material (10pk)

Thanks to all that offered suggestions. Hope this helps someone looking to make this skirt. I see that War Eagle now makes a replacement Spot Remover skirt for spinnerbaits War Eagle Replacement Skirts 2pk | Tackle Warehouse. Zman has it for the Chatterbait. Still looking for a real light chartreuse, but the Spanker is the closest I could find.

Zman Chatterbait replacement is in the lower right hand corner. Wish we could post better quality photos on this site.
