    2019 RT198P Can't get gas into tank....any help?

Am I alone on this problem? It is a miserable ordeal to try and get gas into this boat. I have been to several pumps and contorted the hose and handle into every feasible angle to try and make it work.

It takes the patience of a nun and 20 minutes of more to fill it up from even a half tank.

    Any ideas?

2 possibilities I can think of are a kinked or clogged vent line, or a kinked fuel hose. Are you able to visually inspect them easily?

    Same problem with my rig.
I will make sure the vent line is clear. Then play with the angle of the fuel pump nozzle.

I had that same issue with mine. The angle of the fill line I think was the issue. I no longer have the boat. One thing that helped is the lower the bow when filling the better. It was really frustrating every time filling up though.

Try turning the handle upside down and fill on the slowest lock. Us "Lucky" guys that live in Commiefornia have to deal with the Vapor Recovery gas nozzles and have to do this at most stations !!

Ranger had a recall for this exact issue. Contact your dealer. My 2021 had the same issue from new and recall totally corrected it.

Mine had same issue . I found that if you don't put the pump nozzle all the way down in the fuel line , it filled better . Turning the handle , like others have suggested , helped too. I don't stop on the way to the lake and pump gas . I try to keep the smell off my hands . I have 3 5 gallon gas cans which I fill and bring home . I purchased a battery operated transfer pump at Harbor Freight for $14 and fill my boat at home . No stopping on the way fishing anymore .
