    24v Lithium Wake Up

I have a 24v 50ah ionic for my trolling motor, typically after a day of fishing I have 40-50 percent left, unfortunately I forgot to charge between trips and completely discharged the battery. Now my $20 dollar Amazon special charger will not charge the battery, I’m assuming it will not “wake it.” Any tips or tricks for this? I did not consider this possibility when choosing between 2 12s or a 24v system as waking a 12v system would obviously be easier.

Personally I'd get a good 24v power supply. Or charger that can be overridden to put out voltage to "wake" your battery up. Or 2 12's in series. Cj

I killed a couple of 12V 50AH batteries several years ago. After about 24 hrs of just sitting, not on the charger, they came back just enough to take a charge.

With my 12 v I could take jumper cables and connect to another battery for seconds and that would get it out of sleep mode and charging would charge up

If you could make a 24 V system out of a couple 12 V batteries and connect it to the dead one, it would wake up in about 10 minutes.
