    R93 sport motor height

Has anyone have a R93 with 5” jack plate ?
I was wanting to know what the best motor height is ?
Right now I am running a trophy plus 24 P. I just bought a 23 P trophy plus. Prop shaft is 3” below pad. Hole shot sucks with the 24 with one plug removed, decent top end. The 23 with three plugs removed, hole shot much better. The boat won’t run 50 mph at 5600. I’m going to try the 23 again tomorrow with one plug removed. Not sure if I should move the motor ?

3-3.25 below works well on most boat--need to vent prop so it revs up to 3500-3700 on take off fully tucked under. should be able to turn a 24 and a 25 if engine is running good

    For reference My R 93 with a 200G2ho and 22pitch
    Raker 2 runs 69 at 5750 .
Motor is in the third hole from top on transome .
You say you can't run 50 you got a big problem
Or way to much weight .
My R93 is one of the fastest Rangers I have been in .
    How is your gear balanced?
I got 4 lead acid batteries and minn kota four bank charger.
And with two 195 pounds men and a 70 pound dog
    Will run 66-68 all day.

Just ran it some today, 4200 at plane off, motor is 3” below pad.Three 3/8” plugs and one solid plug. I’m going to try to change out one more to a solid plug and see how it does.

I would try plugging off one hole or at least slowing down some of the vending 35 to 3800 is better. You’re almost going too far and blowing out

Mine performed much better until I went with a 5' JACK PLATE and POWER POLLS. Before the jack plat and poles, i ran a 3 blade Tempest plus 25P. I had it up to 70 MPH, scared me! lol. Went to a 4 blade the next day, I don`t need to run that fast anymore. Old guy.

With 3 large vent plugs and 1 solid, the bow dropped at 4500. Yesterday, I took one of the large plugs out and replaced it with a 1/8" plug opposite the solid plug. Now, the bow drops at 4300 and I had it blow out once. So, I thought I would reduce the venting some more and try it.

put 3 small in and go the other direction maybe can use a unibit to bore them out a little at a time also best when loaded how you use it vs just solo unless you fish solo all the time? adding a person affects it a lot at times also and summer heat also will
