Toggle Switch Wiring- Accessory Constant On

I replaced my front panel and had to then just move the wires over to my same switches that I had before.

The question I have involves the accessory switch The other switches light up correctly and work correctly.

The accessory switch works as it should. However there is a constant on light. On the old switch I Don't Believe I ever saw The light in the past. It's the same switch just a new cover. On the back of that switch there is a orange and green wire that goes into the original harness. There is a orange wire that goes directly to my active target and turns it on and off. I assume the orange green is power. There is a black wire that is disconnected. Although I can't find a disconnected wire that it could've been connected to.

And then the other black wire jumps over to the next switch which is the nav lights and anchor switch.

If I disconnect the dbl black connection, The switch still acts like it should. It turns the active target on and off. But then I get no light. I know the easy answer is to say just disconnect it. And use the accessory switch on and off. However if I could fix it I'd like to.

I've attached all the pics. Let me know your thoughts please. Thank you so so much.....

Have you tried swapping the Orange/Green and solid Orange wires? Some switches have internal connections for the light and if the Orange/green is really constant 12V and it's on the wrong terminal the light would always be on.

Yes!!!! That worked. Thank you I had those flipped. This is why I participate on this forum versus Facebook. If I would have posted that same question on Facebook I would have gotten my butt kicked from all of the trollers. Instead somebody like you helped me I'm a novice and I appreciate it

Since fishthenation got his problems solved, I have a related question.
My toggle switch on a 2005 Kenner bay boat has a light in the switch that is not coming on when turned on.
This is my main power switch. Is there a way to pop off the toggle switch black cover to check the light bulb etc.
No wiring was ever touched. All works but no light when the switch is on.

    Here is the pic
The left one "PWR" is the one that does not light up.
They all should light up like the one on the right "BP". The Pump switch is on.

Compare the wiring connections on the illuminated rocker switch vs one of the others. Most illuminated rocker switches interrupt the power via two contacts (power & load) and require a ground in order to illuminate the led. Without a ground the switch will function to interrupt power to the load…..but the led will not work.
