    Hours per RPM range (whats normal)

    I'm shopping for a used boat. its all pretty new to me and maybe I'm going overboard, no pun intended. I have a printout of the hours with the ranges and didnt know if this was considered normal range or not. Any input would be great

    2018 250 pro xs

    roughly 315 total hours

    0-649 95.5
    650-1499. 93.6
    1500-2999 15.9
    3000-3499 19.8
    3500-3999 26.7
    4000-4499 23.0
    4500-4999 16.8
    5000-5699 20.7
    5700+ 2.1

    Normal....looks like he has a lot of no wake zone time or canal booze cruise....or putting around scanning.

    315 hours is like 15,000 miles on a car....so....nothing.

    60% of total engine run time at or below 1499rpm is a lot. More important than total engine hours is how often it was serviced, I'd ask for copies of service records prior to making a purchase decision.

    FYI - 2018 could potentially be 2 or 4 stroke, there are dedicated forums for both and engine serial numbers are requested when posting.
