No desire to own a sports car. Even if I quit towing I would still drive I big truck.

You could always join a BASS Nation Club and fish as a "non-boater", as long as you pay the boater your share of gas money and don't piss him off !

assuming my health holds up, I will sell in 10 years.

Fly in trips, guided trips and guided trips on the gulf will replace. I want to be out boat maintenance and launching solo while I'm still in good health. Kinda like letting the younger generation drive.

If I were to ever sell mine, I’d probably buy a newer tin boat.

I'd drive a basic single cab work truck before driving a pavement dragger. Already have the basic work truck that will be hard to part with when the time comes. I'd buy a brand new one just like it if I could but that won't happen at least not with Ram.
2023 Xpress H18 with 115 SHO that's optioned to fit my wants and pulled by a little Ram.

Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. Just smile and walk away.

I have two pedal drive kayaks, they seem to be proportionately just as expensive as a bass boat, all the same equipment on board, just less lineal footage to divide by

If professionals who's careers depend on catching fish use FFS then that's what I'm using. Might be too simple of a philosophy but makes sense to me.

There's lots of decaffeinated brands that are just as tasty as the real thing.

I sold my bassboat and bought a multispecies boat....no regrets

Dryer ride, more comfortable, more storage, power steering.

Only runs 60mph but thats fast enough.
Biggest negative is that it burns more fuel which may be an issue heading into retirement.

Those are actually clips from an old Fishin Hole where Jerry McKinnis and Bobby Orr floated for smallmouth on the Pisquaticus (sp?) river in Maine. They fished small crappie jigs on 4lb line catching 1-3 lb smallies. The Huron River runs about 120 miles from North of Ann Arbor to Lake Erie. It’s not as picturesque as Maine but there’s lots of smallies all along that watershed.

If I sold my boat, I'd make damn sure the nurse changing my diapers looks like Salma Hayek. Cause the only way I ain't fishing is if I am bed ridden.
