Bassmaster is a total joke now. FFS aside, the way that organization is run now compared to even 5 years ago, is sad. They dont care bout nothing but the dollar!! Or the Tide.. IDK.

I fully support NPFL, not just because they banned FFS, but because they dont deal with BS. When BS comes up, they serve them right and move on. BASS has to ask Garmin first before they do anything to make sure it doesnt affect their check. Garmin runs BASS, BASS doesnt run BASS. Bass had a PRIME opportunity to do SOMETHING, not just with FFS, but with the the rules that are crazy... And they did NOTHING but make things worse lol. I guess when I say "they" I should keep referring to Garmin and Hummingbird board of directors?

MLF has done a better job this year after the issues years ago. Boyd seemed to have put his big boy pants on and has a prime opportunity to outpace BASS for years to come.

BASS was #1 in my book 2 years ago, they are now dead last.

There is a reason why they are constantly in the news about negative issues... There is a reason why vets are leaving, not just anglers, but announcers. There are things we do not hear about.. Just a FYI
"I guess most people don’t want to admit that BASS is now run by Garmin, rather than the other way around. It’s BASS in name only. As they say, money talks and nonsense walks. I’ve been a member of BASS since 1962 and have seen a lot of changes, but nothing like the last two or three years.
Ever wonder why there are no entry fees? It’s their show now—do as they say or get out. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure that out. I don’t—and won’t—watch their shows anymore. If I want to stare at the back of someone’s head, I can go to the movies—at least there’s more action there."

Isnt EVERY tournament trail the same way? It does seem that BASS is interested in the drama but 1. Nobody even knows if this stuff is true about the garmin deal, 2. The anglers asked for decades for no entries and complain when it happens, 3. The anglers wanted zero tolerance and complain when it happens, 4. The anglers wanted technological restrictions and now complain after they put some in place. See the trend? The list could keep going. The anglers are crybabies these days, well some are. Some just fish and those are the ones winning

Now I'm a dummy about a lot of things, but I don't understand this sentiment at all, especially when one is catching fish and the other isn't. You're staring at the back of someone's head regardless, and the one scoping generally has more action than the one not. Unless by action you mean casting? The scopers don't cast as often, that is true.

Left is flipping cypress kness, right is scoping the same thing.
