Elite fs9 Chirp and side/down simultaneously?

I am curious if I have a certain setting off or if it really isnt possible. I try to run chirp sonar and side or down at the same time and my elite fs9 says it cant run both. I was curious if there was a way around this.

I run a 3-1 transducer and the transducer with the lowrance ghost. My elite fs9 is on my console while i have a hds live 16 at the bow.

The way around it is to swap to HDS or add another unit or module. Elite Ti/ Ti2/FS alone can not do 2D chirp while also using Structurescan.
