New information about the boat crash on Smith Lake.

According to this there were 5 people in the striper boat and 2 survived.

Let’s be honest, we all know what happened. Guy was hammer down with his face buried up in his console graphs screen watching, & not paying attention to his surroundings. It can be no other plausible explanation.

I just want to say prayers to six families that are having the worst Easter of their life. Planning a funeral , talking to lawyers or recovering from injuries
is no way to spend an Easter.

    You’re likely correct.

Mark Fisher Outdoors was boat #81 on day two. He posted a video of minor surface fog at takeoff then him going around the accident point with no fog. You can clearly see what is probably the striper boat on the point. I wasn't able to post it on here but it appears fog was not an issue.

I wasn't there so I'm not going to speculate, nor am I going to suggest eliminating tournaments, nor am I going to suggest reducing horsepower, or changing blastoff procedures, or complain to store manager about cream cheese pricing protocol.. just simply not going to do it.

I am only guilty of one out of five of those. We'll maybe two if you throw in the speculation. Still two out of five ain't bad.

Other than equipment failure like steering or throttle problem and kill switch broke which boat driver was not 100% in control of the boat?

"There’s so much misinformation on YouTube about this horrendous accident—it’s truly mind-boggling. Only 7 people really know what happened, and we all know what became of three of them. The fourth the driver isn’t speaking, at least not to the media or the countless naysayers." And the 2 other survivors are retaining lawyers.

Yes, he's the only one that knows what happened. Not all the clickbait lawyers out there.

If he is smart, his lawyer is probably the only one who will be speaking for him at this time.

It was a 22 ft cape craft center console... There had been speculation of the boat being over capacity but it was not ..
