What About Tourist?

We have been beating up on tournament fisherman for the last couple of days. What about the tourist that come from out of state that runs wide open on a stump flat that they think is a channel and cuts in front of you. Then he sees you catch a fish he calls half a dozen of his buddies that came down with him to join us.Then some are meat catchers who keep every fish as long as it has eyeballs and a tail.
If you are a responsible tourist that obeys the laws, the limits and are respectful of other fisherman, come on down, you are welcome. If you want to come down and raid and plunder like a Viking stay home.

Just go where they came from on "your" lake and start catching fish there? Tell them "you can have this spot but don't ever include me in your bent rod pattern again".

The lake is public on a navigable river . It is not my lake. But at the same time I don’t drive 400 miles to the public lake in your area and act like a Viking. Most people who drive this far to fish are serious fishermen who get it. But then there are those few that don’t that give their state a bad name. It’s not just me. I have had this conversation with plenty of locals who brought it up.

Just curious how many Lakes or streams in Montana that may have two thousand boats on them on a given weekend? Sound relaxing? With that many people it is more important than ever for people to practice a little common sense and courtesy.

These are the times we are in, it has changed tremendously, you can either go out and enjoy being on the lake or let everyone bother you . Just do you, enjoy it don't worry about the stupid people.. the world's full of them and they will run you dead if you let them
