The Stanley version has poor reviews...

Next time I am at my shop, I will take some pictures. Most of my clamping is with a Jaw Horse. It works well and is heavy duty. If you have a lot of larger molds, it might not be ideal. But it is easy to use.

I just bought one today. Hope to use it soon. My daughter lives in Jenison/Geogetown Township. In the "Bend Area" off Cottonwood Rd.

Gotta ask…..how much better would it be than a couple Quick Clamps?

I line up 6-8” worth of molds on my workbench & use 2 quick clamps……never had a problem yet.

This holds the molds and clamps.... Just doing a couple molds don't have much of a base. Not saying this is better, I just wanted to try it.

I guess I like the pneumatic clamps many are using, and trying to bridge that gap.

I have not fished back there in awhile, but when I did the spring months were really good from shore in those gravel pits. Did better from shore than a kayak. A ton of 5 gallon buckets being filled with sub legal or out of season fish though.

I have fished them all from shore and a couple from my kayak... I also fish Maplewood Lk from shore and kayak... Great lil fishing store on Baldwin,West of Cottonwood. My daughter lives on Honey Brook. 1 mile N of Maplewood Lk.

They all get a ton of pressure.... Last time I was there, I took my Bullet and fished the Grand River a few times and Green Lk in Caledonia.

My daughter’s house backs up to Maplewood lake. I will need to fish that one again sometime. Only gave it a little effort during a couple family picnic/splashpad visits, no real effort at good times of the day. Was cool seeing the Osprey’s there. Caught a couple bass and a snapping turtle, if I recall. My bass boat is a Tracker TV-18 (v-hull). I have not tried the river. I know a few guys that fish the river a fair amount for bass. Never really done much river fishing. I should give it a try but not used to running a river.

I'm too scared to run that river as it's depth varies a lot per rain and bottom contour. I idle mostly and use the trolling motor. I catch a ton of small bass, and many other species. Not much for size in that area. I launched where 28th Ave runs into the river. I fished to the west to Lk Michigan Dr (45) and to the east at the /airport/steamboat/paddleboat.

This vise works great on small molds. It does need a second clamp on taller molds. I like it for what I do.
