Fishing Report 01-01-06

Looks like the Mississippi Fisherman are not posting much. Anyway I fish just north of Gulfport at a private lake and yesterday was a very good day for bass fishing. The low pressure that was moving through really had the bass feeding.

We were catching bass everywhere. We caught bass off the bank and in the deeper water. Lost several big bass most likely due to not re-tying often enough. Everything was caught on soft plastic worms

We wound up catching over 30 bass in around 4 hours. It was a great way to start the new year.......

yep, kinda slow around my area, i havent been in a few months thanks to deer season, but i will begin to update things on my end around febuary, i havent even heard any good reports in my area yet

My cousin said the bass were tearing it up at our farm pond on the 1st or 2nd as well. Too bad I didn't get to go, apparently the fish liked the weather.
