Anyone have a solution for the crappy ghost strap? I’m on my second one, it’s just too short and the Velcro will not hold. I have some auxiliary straps but I’d like to mound a better one.

The Ultrex strap is heavy duty. I thought it was too hard to get undone and havent ran one in the last 6 years.
Just use a Minn Kota one, it's worlds better.
Mine is plenty long and seems to do the job as one would expect.
I will try Minn kota strap.
I installed the lock down bar (?) from TH marine. Don’t need the strap with that
I use the as well but used my modifications. Although I still use the factory strap along with when traveling on the road. Never an issue. As far as my modication....I did not want a shoe string catcher. My lock down is under the troller not on the sideOriginally Posted by gebass
