    Golf Cart Battery question

So my batteries in my Club Car golf cart are nearing the end. There are Four 12 volt Trojans currently in it. I don't use it on a golf course just around my campground and to the lake. Pretty level traveling. I'm considering putting in 4 group 31 AGM deep cycles that would be used in our boats. Alot less $$. My question is will the battery charger I have for the cart charge the agms properly??

Can’t respond to your question but this is what I did when needing new batteries. I replaced four Trojan’s in our 48V golf cart this past summer. Went with a 48v “golf cart battery” in a metal case. Cheaper then 4 new Trojans. Also the new 48v weighs 108#. The 4 Trojans weighed 320#. Cart is quicker and runs much longer before needing a charge.

I got four 12v 56ah lithiums from Dakota. Been great.

Mine had eight giant 6 volt. So i saved over 350 pounds.

I would bet no. A flooded lead acid profile will kill a AGM. So if your charger does not have a AGM setting I would not use it. CJ
