My boat has been stored inside since I bought it. It's an 07 bought in 2011. I had it recarpeted in 2022 and that bow pad had cracked and had chunks gone. It would probably would have come off with a putty knife.

Yes, I have replaced all of the black diamond rubber on my 05 Triton with Dura-Deck Marine products. I traced out templates for each piece, contacted Dura-Deck with order and received all the pieces quickly. Russ at DD was easy to work with and made the process very simple. Removal of old rubber stuff is dependent on how bad of condition the rubber is in at the time of removal. My experience varied from easy to it took a bit to get it ready for the new material installation. Whatever you use, choose a scraper that will not damage your gel coat but remove old rubber and maybe some of the adhesive. I used a plastic scraper, an adhesive removal wheel and finally a wipe down with acetone before applying Dura-Deck pieces. I included a couple of pics of basically what it looks like with the old rubber material removed and the new Dura-Deck material installed.

https://www.stewartssurestep.com/ is where I bought mine. I was trying to match the design and wound up replacing all of them. Razor blade, hair dryer and goo gone worked for me.

I'll add to my post above that when Golden's Boat Carpeting & More recarpeted mine, I had all the black diamond pad replaced with Aquatraction.
