Has a GOLD plan that can be transferred for a nominal fee, through 8/20/2025.
Transfer should take place within 30 days of purchase.

Still consider myself a "Marine Apprentice" after 48 years (learn something new every day).

My suggestion would be to have it checked out by a very knowledgeable tech before you make that "no" decision. If you were to have a failure, it would be the best $110 you ever spent.
