Transfer Paused

I have been attempting to do the latest software update on my graphs for almost 3 hours using Active Captain on my iPhone. It took forever for the phone to connect to the graph network. I even had the phone forget the graph and re set it back up. It did community updates fine with no issues. But it has had "transfer paused" on the software update numerous times and still hasn't completed. Plenty of space on the SD card. Any of the "checklist items" on the graph of issues, don't apply. Any suggestions?

In my opinion download update from website to card and go that route....using AC used to be seamless operation but as it got more, it's just a lil pain for me....I just go the sd card route....

That's what I ended up doing, always been seamless prior.
I guess the Force update needs AC to do it though as it is it's own network?
Garmin Express also said I had a map update available (have a subscription), but failed to update that SD card. Any suggestions there?

Which MFDs do you have? With the current software, all the newest MFDs will now also update the Force and Force Pro (with TM powered up and connected to the MFD) from the MFD via the update bundle you have downloaded. See the MFDs that are compatible with this process on page 5 of link below. Otherwise you will need to update your Force via ActiveCaptain. Regarding map updates, I always do them via ActiveCaptain.

I don't understand what MFD is. This is how my boat is equipped. I use an iPhone 13, running iOS 18.3.2, my AC version is 39.0.1198.

Relative to updating the Force, the ability to update from the MFD was only included in the newest Echomaps (Ultra 2 and UHD 2). You will need to update your Force with ActiveCaptain.
