    Lowrance HDI Settings

Bought a ghost last year and had it hooked to my gen 2 8" with the adapter cord, but recently bought a carbon 12". I removed the adapter and plugged the ghost into the structure scan port, turned multisource on and channel 2, and turned off channel 1. The HDI M/H 9 came up automatically and it seems fine. I'm new to the HDI, so is there a set of settings that are generally good?
    Thanks

The auto settings are good for most users and bodies of water. Don't be afraid to play with the settings on your lake to dial it in to your liking, but most never make an adjustment.

Thanks Marc, the auto settings were ok, besides sensitivity being through the roof. I turned that down, but just making sure I'm not missing anything. It looked like normal 2D sonar to me.

It is normal 2D but you also have normal Downscan! Just go to Pages and select the page that says Downscan to view it

Nice! I didn't know that. I noticed the transducer ticks now, similar to the old structure scan transducer so that makes sense.
