any good reports coming from around that area? thinking about hittin pokegama the weekend of aug 15th. never been out there open water, only ice fishing. any hints or starting points to check out. depth etc....

i was up int hat area two weeks ago when it was 55, rainy and blowing all week. I only fished two lakes, Sugar and Bass Lake. Sugar was pretty good, caught them in 6-8 FOW on the outside weed edge, and also between the reeds and the inside weed edge. Bass lake was mostly panfishing with the family so i dont have much to offer for that one. I meant to get to Pokegama, but other things took priority and the weather did not cooperate!
