Title may be a little misleading. Water pressure gauge works, line from the motor to the gauge is clear and can blow air through.
Here's the issue, 2023 merc 150 pro xs, not getting and water from the intake to where my gauge line connects. Strong stream from the pisser. Flushed the engine, blew air into intake, any ideas on problem/fix? Thanks.
Not sure on your model, but there could be 2 upper and 1 lower strainers that may need cleaned. Also not sure that would cause it, but I would check those before looking further.

Should have blown it backward. You may have a lower blockage that you just pushed further into the ascending line.

Also need to make sure you're connected to a GRAY tubing inside the engine cowling. If you're connected to BLACK: That's NOT water pressure.

Yes sir, gray line. Gonna blow air in from where the fitting connects to the engine and see if anything comes free by the intake.
Probably not going to tell you much.
Make sure you can blow into the gray tubing (engine off) on the engine side.
If so, disconnect the hose with the engine idling in the water, and point the gray tubing "up" to see approximately how far it pushes water vertically out of the tube. I know- not very scientific, but it will give you a general idea of what you're working with.

Took the gray line off where it connects to the engine, took air compressor and blew down into the engine, tilted to motor different angles and blew into it. That was the fix, works like a champ. Must have sucked something in the intake.
