    Ecu fuel pump driver

    1998 mercury 225 efi

    Thinking my fuel pump driver on my ecu may be bad. How exactly do I run power from my key switch to my fuel pump? What kind of relay would I need to get, and why do I need a relay instead of just running it to the key switch for the 12 volts?

    It would be extremely rare to have a pump driver circuit failed on a 3L EFI of that vintage.
