Thanks for the news. I have 5 or 6 CLEAN feeders waiting to mix up some nectar. Need something to do waiting to heal up and get back on the water. My neighbor is supposed to call me when they see any.
Saw the first one today. Time to put the feeders out.
We have a few here in NE Ms . Wife loves them and is putting out feeders and had me go buy some plants that are already blooming. Wonderful creatures!
Feeders out 2 weeks nothing here yet.
We have some bird feeders that use suction cups to hold the glass on the Sun Room. I have to fill them every day, Cardinals, different Woodpeckers, Blue Jays and all the rest. I have a Hummer feeder to try this year that also sticks to the window.
One male showed up yesterday. In Buchanan Tn, Ky lake area.
Here is the link to the 2025 map that keeps records of sightings. I reported on 4/1

Jackson Co Alabama 2 so far.
I saw one twice today. North of Nashville near ky line.
Seaford Delaware here with nothing to report BUT I mixed up some nectar and hung one feeder. Still watching.
Dropped to 30 degrees last night, supposed to hit 37 tonight. The 30 degrees killed some of the leaves of my hydrangea that had just started to fledge out. No sign of birds, but at least the cold will help preserve the nectar outside.
Saw my first one here in Mid-TN yesterday morning![]()

Here in Seaford De. I looked out the kitchen window this Wednesday morning and lo and behold, my first hummingbird of the year was feeding. After the little green winged guy left I went out, drained the feeder, rinsed it out and put fresh nectar in it.
Awesome. Hope to see them up this way soon .
Got our first one yesterday
