    Remote Oil fil Cap broke part#15969a08

    Ok so once again the cap on my remote oil fill separated from the piece that screws into the housing. Part number below however all I need is the just the cap that has "oil" labeled on it. If needed I can buy the whole kit however can't find them anywhere. Anyone got a hook up?

    Mercury doesn't offer the cap separately.

    If it helps: I'm informed (and believe) that this is merely a cap from a Perko Fuel Fill (with a blank that covers the fuel fill portion of the deck plate). You can probably source a perko fuel fill cap to directly replace it with.

    Ok just noticed I put the wrong part number in the title here is the correct part #15969A13. My Apologies!

    Thanks for the part however it doesn't fit the 1 1/2 fill opening for the part number 15969A13, however a schedule 40 pvc male cap from any hardware store will fit you just have to watch how long the thread length. I will say though the o ring doesn't fit however in a pinch this should work until I find a OEM replacement
