    Depth for perspective

New to FFS and I'm just wanting to know everyone's thoughts on this. Is there a depth that you would be better off to switch to perspective mode if you are fishing shallower. With the dimensions of the cone would you be better off in perspective in say 6 ft or less? I appreciate your input.

Ya perspective mode is very good in around 7-8ft or less. You can see so much detail with grass, lay downs, and fish show up great.

I like perspective when fishing for bedding fish and/or around grass to find holes in the grass. That is usually less than 6 fow.

I fish relatively shallow water most of the year anyway and there are times where I like forward in less than 8 fow. Perspective won't tell you the depth fish are holding at like forward will and forward won't always show you the grass holes like perspective will.

Agree, this is why I upgraded from AT2 to LVS, for perspective mode looking at beds and grass, etc - b/c AT's Scout mode is shite. I run a 360 as well, but sometimes think about pulling it and running dual LVS's, but I really use 360 at lot here in Fl. so am hesitant to remove it.

I use it to find schools of fish that roam 0-15 ft deep in open water. Perspective is an absolute killer for this.
My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.
