Bought a 100 amp about a year ago, big mistake. After 3 weeks of emailing customer service in CHINA, I was told to send my battery to Indiana. Waiting to see if they replace it.

Now another question, why all the emphasis on a Bluetooth app to track charge levels? All of us have went years and years without an app on our lead acid or agm batteries and managed just fine. If I’m paying as much as what some of these premium lithiums costs, I don’t want to have to monitor anything. I want to take my boat out, use it, put it back, and throw it on the charger like I always have. I don’t want an additional step of checking the charge to see if it has run down enough to charge again. It’s possible I’m misunderstanding the purpose though.

My understanding is that they will last longer with less often charge cycling. Good theory, but it bit me in the butt yesterday. My running battery went flat, because I've hardly run the motor (third trip out this season, on small water). The 3-bank charger isn't set up ATM to just maintain the house battery. I'll go back to plugging in every trip again, and eat whatever longevity downgrade.

Regarding group size, is there any difference in group 24 and group 31 other than case size? Say both are 12v, 100ah......

The group 24 use different battery cells that are more compact. LiTime has a comparison page to compare the two batteries to determine BMS Ampacity differences and whatnot--other than cell type, I don't know much else off the top of my head.

I woundn't be to concerned about longivity from cycling of the cells if you fish 100 times a yr and charge each time that is only a 1000 cycles most are rated for 3000 or more cycles. The BMS or wiring will probably be the death of the battery.

Think you will be happy, got mine in January. 2 bluetooth 100ah and 24 v charger right at 500. So far I'm happy. Gets down to 90 percent on an 8 hr average day. They said tariffs were coming so I jumped. Run my ghost on 24 v.

I just put two 36V 50AH Li-Time Lithiums in my boat to run in parallel for 100AH about a month ago. Love the bluetooth and they've been great so far. Fished in some really heavy wind for 8.5 hours the other day and they were still at 80% at the end of the day.
