Also- if you get even the slightest of damage to a Fury (literally just tip the blades to sand)- IT NEEDS REPAIRED.

Most of the magic comes from the middle of the blade on these- and they can be skewed SIGNIFICANTLY and appear to be virtually undamaged.

Savage, is there a chart or diagram that tells what different props will do on the Z522. I have no way of testing a few of them. I'd like to run 6300 rpm around 75mph. Not too worried on the hole shot. Thanks

Don't forget about the battery weight and if there was ANY weight loss there, you need to add that weight BACK IN as close to the transom as possible.

Can't stress this enough... pulling 40-100# out of the back of the boat can make as much as 8-10 MPH difference.

now its heavier on the front and lighter in the back (its a killer for sure) what screens /360 on front ??? might wanna talk to TIM POWELL at FASTBASS marine about some weight bags they rig some smokin fast boats and have to deal with this alot for drivability and balance on some of the lighter weight hulls achieving 100 mph speeds

Well, one of the blades on the prop has a good ding in it. It's off to the prop shop next week. I hope this fix's the problem. I still lost 60 lbs of weight from getting smaller batteries

    One change at a time.
    Test the repaired prop FIRST

Always, always try one change at a time, then you know what one thing changed, my boat is soooo different from yours, kinda hard to learn from mine, but I would think with the right weight and prop, you should be able to get where you’re trying to go

DEFINITELY try the prop first. Then if you need, weight. You could be prepared to do both on the same day (I actually recommend back-to-back runs with and without weight if balance problems are suspected).

Run it as-is, with the properly-repaired prop FIRST though.

Well guys made it to the lake today and I think with good results. Thanks for everyone's help on this. Prop redone
    1- 5 to 10 mph wind
    2-10 gallons of fuel
3-made 3 passes with tail wind
    4-5980 rpm
    5-best I seen was 72.7 GPS
    6-72 degree water temp
7-Im satisfied with that speed for an aircraft carrier
    Thanks, all guys
