Something about 2149 wins, (2504 wins if you count 4 years at Toronto), a World Series title, 14 straight division titles, baseball HOF, 4 manager of the year, and 5 All Star teams managed, is meaningful to a large part of the Braves fan base.
There's lots of decaffeinated brands that are just as tasty as the real thing.

I didn't say otherwise. But what I said is true about how some fans looked at Cox. Snit certainly hasn't managed as long as Cox but he has 6 or 7 straight trips to the postseason with a title. That's a good run.

Yeah but when Snit is given very good players and a 104 win season in 2023, then choke in the post season and win 89 games in 2024 and choke again at the end of the year raises a LOT of eyebrows. True enough they had some significant players out with injuries but every team in MLB did too, even the teams playing in the post season.

    Time will tell with Snit.

If Snit was out of job today he's already accomplished more than most. As for good players, all successful mangers have them. Cox had Chipper, Maddox, Smoltz, Glavine, McGriff, Etc. All in the Hall. Anyway, good luck to the Braves. Hope they and my Sox get it together. Would love Sox/Braves WS.

Yeah he's been around a long time and has nothing really to frown about.

Maybe the Braves can win a game before heading home

You’d think he’d have learned from Tatis back in 2022.

It really makes me wonder why Baseball always has so many infractions?

Because, much like B.A.S.S., they actually strictly enforce the rules to the letter of the law?
