    My brother won the Outdoor Channel sweepstakes!

    Thought I would share this with you guys on BBC. I think you all will appreciate it and enjoy it too. My brother won the Fish with Mark Zona sweepstakes. All expenses paid trip to lake St Clair. I was my brother's plus one... They flew us into Detroit on a Wednesday. Driver service to the hotel. Went to dinner with an outdoor channel VP and Zona. Had bone in Tomahawks and drinks til we had enough.... Went back to the hotel and hung out with Zona. Got up before sunrise and hit the lake. Was freezing but we were fired up. The whole west side of the lake was very dirty. Zona said he hasn't seen it like that ever. We found a small stretch of clean water and focused our day there. Started off catching 5 nice walleye for his freezer... Then we figured out the smallmouth!! Many 3-4 pounder then Zona caught a 7.02 smallie. I netted it and it was massive. We all hugged and took pics before quickly putting it back in the water. Then my brother and I caught double 5s! Zona was a mess wanting to net them both at the same time. It was a sh1t show but we were smiling the whole time. Got those 2 biggins in and we hugged and hollered again! Only taking a quick picture before putting them back. One of the funnest days on the water my brother and I have ever had. Our best 5 was 27.03lbs. Hated for the day to end but they all went home leaving us to have dinner sleep and head home. Well they bought dinner for us again so we went back and had drinks and giant Steaks again!!!!
