    Screen Blacks Out?

    I was on an extended trip. 1st day Garmin 1022 works flawlessly. Next morning, unit powers up, warning from Garmin appear as usual, I except.
    Live scope calibrates and comes on for 20 to 30 seconds, the screen goes black. I disconnect power and start over, same.
    Any thoughts?

    What battery? Voltage reading on screen? Did you charge battery over night?

    Yes, battery is good. I solved the problem. Somehow the back light got tuned way down on live scope only? Back light was correct with other pages, but switch to livescope it would go dark after a few seconds. I had to go through the process of turning it up without seeing it on the screen.
