    Attaching Bow Mount to Deck

Going on a Phoenix. Have a new Procise Outdoors stack mount to install. For attaching to the deck, I can thru-bolt the mount to the deck either side of the pedal well?? I really didn't want a mount that attaches to the deck but wanted a mount that staggers the units side-by-side instead of right on top of each other. Still not sure I don't want the BBT mount.

I have installed a spanner bracket over the pedal on a Ranger. I was able to through bolt it by digging out some foam on both sides of the pedal hole. That should be possible on a Phoenix too,I would think.

You should get what makes you happy but I would suggest having your units stacked one above the other. This will allow for easier access in and out of the boat via the bow. Seems like two units along side of each other is going to make for a wide interference. For me, it also seems easier to view both graphs at the same time when mounted vertical to each other. This also allows for the graphs to be closer to the center line of the boat so regardless of which side I am casting to, I can easily see the graphs. Again, this works for me; you should go for what works for you. Good luck

With Procise mount you can stagger them, like parallel with trolling motor base, or bring them closer to almost on top of each other. Not doing side by side and I agree.
