Anybody running Mark’s prop on a 520r? Do you leave the plugs in or out?

Use it on my 519. All plugs out, no issues. I would put them all in and see how it does and then start opening them up with a Uni bit if needed to get a great hole shot! This prop grabs so hard. It’d be really hard to get it to blow out or slip on takeoff

I had a Razor 4XL on a Z520C several years ago—not quite the same hull and definitely not the same engine. But probably similar. I ran two full plugs in and two holes open. Honestly not a ton of difference in plug configurations for me, but I ran a couple open to get it to jump on plane as quickly as possible; a couple closed to eliminate possible blowout in extremely rough water. Worked for me.
Thanks for the replies. I appreciate it.
Jbass123 what motor on your 520c?
Jbass123 how was your performance with the 4xl ? Are you still running that setup?
I don’t have a Z520 now, and with the 4-stroke engine I’ve found the stock 3-blade Fury performs fine.
