Today I installed the LVS34 Transducer to replace my 32. I think it's working but can't really tell yet as I haven't had it on the water but in my panoptix screen it still reads GLS10 on theb ottom left? All the videos I see online show it as saying LVS34. I just checked and have the latest version 2.79 on the black box and it was all working perfectly with the 32....

If you have the latest update on the box then dont need to update.....you need to be on the water to get a reading......open air wont achieve anything.....I wouldnt worry about the screen.....

I’m not sure if I named my old setup LVS32, but when I installed a 34, to my original black box. It still says LVS32, but i promise you it’s the 34 picture haha. I wouldn’t sweat it.

I got it out today and it's working fine. Still says GLS10 but that doesn't bother me as long as it's working...
