Tiny GPS tracker with some range: Recommendations

I bought my son a pretty expensive boke for his birthday. It's one of those wheelie bikes kids ride into cars, although my son is pretty smart and responsible that I am 100% positive, he will not be doing wheelies down the road, he sometimes is careless when locking his bike up. These bikes get stolen pretty often. I want to get some sort of small tracking device that can be hidden well that has some mileage range. I live in a pretty quiet and small town so odds are, if the bike is stolen, it's from some kid around the neighborhood.

the problem with airtags is that if the thief has an iphone, it will warn him after a bit of time that an airtag is tracking. I have gotten
this message before due to someone eating at the same restaurant and then staying at the same hotel as I did...spooky at first.

I'd get an inexpensive air tag and remove the speaker. You will get its last known location when an iphone was nearby. GPS trackers wlll have a monthly fee, and can also be detected with a scanner. Good luck with getting the police involved and a judge issuing a search warrant, if the only evidence you have is saying my bike was stolen and my tracker is located at this address.

They just found a bunch of stolen stuff in a mini storage. A lady tracked her items with an Air Tag to the storage unit. She made one call to the police and they entered the storage rooms and found her stuff and a LOT more.
There's lots of decaffeinated brands that are just as tasty as the real thing.

    Hi Mike.

also very thankful we live in a safe enough area where this wouldn’t even have been a consideration

I'd say it's much easier easier for the police to gain permission to search a storage unit than some ones house. If I was a thief, I'd find the tracker and plant it at some ones house I didn't like.

I think the new age police officers love the technology stuff and will play tracker any day….. I’ve read a lot lately where they’re more than willing to go knock on doors for missing/located iPhones around here…. Maybe it’s just around here and depends on the officer.. sadly, on the other hand, you’ll wait 14 hours to get an officer to show up to make a police report if your truck gets broken in to…

How do the Milwaukee tools tool tracker work?

ive been thinking about putting a tracker on my new little outboard motor being it weighs like 80lbs and easy to steal…. I had a lil 15hp stolen years ago… got up to go fishing and my motor was gone..
