Well I sure would not have trusted the individual jumping into the car to not back over me. But alas its that individual in the car that is wrong, not the repo dude.

I surely would not be trying to get under it and hook it up knowing someone got into the drivers side.

Life lesson.......When someone is getting into the car that you are trying to repossess, don't lie on the ground with your head next to the tire.

Once the person is in the car the repo off, isn't it?

Main what a lucky dude to be walking somewhat away. Can you imagine getting your old ford focus repo, talk about hard times.

Wrong type of tow truck to do a repo, needed one of those quick in and styles that picks up the car so you can move to get to a safe spot. Or a wingman that can distract the owner. Yes, the repo man is a dumbass, but the driver should get charged with assault.

And the tow truck driver needs to buy a lottery ticket, very lucky for sure.

That's got to hurt for sure. I'd be pressing charges.

But I'm also not crazy enough to lay under a car that's started.
Been fishin' since I was 5 years old...Thanks Grandpa!

Local sheriff deputy woke up to someone hooking up to his truck in his carport. Repo guy waved a gun at him. Deputy shot him dead! Repo guy definitely had the wrong address and wrong guys truck! This happened in my county about 20+ years ago. It can be a dangerous profession!

I used to work with a guy who did repos for a few years. He had a half inch steel plate installed behind the seat of his repo rig. He said that saved him on 3 different repos.

my best friend used to be an account rep for a buy here pay here chain. He's been in some dicey situations but had a good snatch truck driver on speed dial that was mean, tough, and fast. That said, the preferred way was to just get in the repo and haul ass with another driver.

I am on break on jury duty. Why can't I get a case like that?
