Taking the wife to St. John's this weekend for a little bass fishing.

Never been but got a few pointers from a friend. If anyone has any recent info on the lake it would be appreciated.

They are hammering them....other than that...couldn't tell you...

usually this time of the year we have a club tourney up there, we fish the grass and shallow trees on the south end with spinner baits and do lots of good...however...this may not do you a bit of good right now...I really don't know what or where they are biting, but know they have been doing well....

Thanks for the info. I hope we can catch a few. People are telling me to fish the camps and piers on the west side up from the spokane landing. So I think I will start there saturday afternoon and maybe hit the grass before dark if not doing to good.

I had no luck on St. John this weekend. I know I am not use to fishing oxbows so maybe I was doing something wrong. I fished the piers deep and shallow. I concentraded on the end of the docks in about 7-8ft. of water. Used Watermelon color worms, jigs, and had the wife had on spinnerbait. Just caught one fish.

    St. John's this weekend

Lake near an all-time low...not good... some bites before 9am...you must move 6-7 times it seems...
    13+ won I think ... 3 weeks ago...on cranks...I am 16 miles away and fish it 20+ days a year...
