    Inline battery disconnect

Don, seen your post in the lounge about this, I was once told by a merc mechanic it is not good on the computer to take the power off and on. Is this true or false. Would like to install one so i can kill the power when the boat is in the garage. 97 promax 225.

    Re: Inline battery disconnect (CRIMSONGAMBLER)

Provided ALL connections are tight, a good battery is in use, the switch is installed on the POSITIVE TERMINAL side, and the KEY IS ALWAYS IN THE OFF POSITION WHEN OPERATING THE BATTERY SWITCH: No Problem!

Modern BIA Regulations actually REQUIRE one in many cases.
