There's lots of decaffeinated brands that are just as tasty as the real thing.

I have talked to guys in central Illinois with a southern accent
He's from Carbondale which is further south than a lot of Kentucky and most of the Mason Dixon line.

I lived in west central Illinois when I was a kid, live just across the river in Missouri now. I went to visit my aunt when I was 12 in Peoria, IL which was about 3 hours from where we lived. All the kids in the neighborhood said that I talked funny, like I was from the south. Illinois covers a lot of different dialects from one end to the other.

I think each state is like that, or atleast more expansive ones.

here in NY, you have different accents in basically each of the boroughs of NYC and Long Island, then the downstate/New England accent around the Catskills expanding from NYC to Albany.

once you get into CNY and the Adirondack region where we are, it’s just a hair different than that of say western NY. Can’t really recognize it since we’re accustomed.

head up to the what’s considered “north country” along the Canadian border it’s kind of like a cross between northern American and eastern Canadian. My brother in law and his family live about 10min from the border. His wife’s side of their family sound like a cross between the Johnston brothers and Feider.

I worked with a guy from Carbondale IL and he talked exactly like Trey. They are rednecks for sure. He loved to go home and sit with his brothers shooting birds off the power lines with BB guns while drinking Natural Light. If that is not redneck, I do not know what is!

Well that may be true, but what about how he wears a ball cap? it's not completely flat, yet not a full curve like us old guys. It's just ridiculous ..... gets under my skin.

Yes Sir Hat Brim Styles have gotten things stirred up on the BBC especially when Wheeler was wearing the Flat Brim.

I’m an Old Full Curved Brim Wearer was told it casts a shadow that helps obscure a lot of old ugly face so I’ll look younger

I grew up not far from there and have family that went to college there. When I was in the Army in upstate NY, people said I had an accent. I was once at a rural country bonfire years ago and thought I was in a total different state! Now that I live at Pickwick in MS, I get, you're not from around here are you?

A number of years ago while I was heading to Kentucky to go deer hunting I stopped in Cario Ill. for gas. Good god, the accents there are far stronger than I have EVER heard.

When Wheeler came onto the Professional Tournament Fishing Scene some Grumpy BBCer blasted him for the way he talked and some others chimed right in with some ridiculous remarks.

So not liking someone for their hat brim or manner of speaking isn’t anything new for the BBC.

These kind of threads are good post count builders and are sort of like an Open Mic Night at a Comedy Club providing a stage to discover more good BBC Comedians.
