We have one here and you have to be 50 years old to fish it. I'm fishing it with my son this year....now I really feel like a senior

There are senior events on most big lakes. 4-6 hours in the middle of the week. Small entry fee, but they cqn win more money than they are at the bottom of bass😂😂

I’d be in. But needs to be 65 and older. None here.

That stinks, normally here is 60 and older. I will say, the older I get, 6 hours is perfect.

Line up the sponsors! Wasn't there a tournament several years ago where the legends of the sport participated and didn't exactly set the world on fire?

Started one in our club. 60 or older, all tournaments are high/low, 9:00 - 3:00 pm, Fish alone or with a partner, next weeks lake decided after weigh in. Tournaments start after regular club tournament season over. We all had a great time and can't wait for this season.

I fish the Ohio Retirement Bass Series every other Thursday from mid-April until mid-October. One team member must be at least 55 years old. And, for what it's worth, if you aren't using FFS, you're fishing for 3rd through 5th place.

Do you really think there is anymore hate for the young guys than there is hate and making fun of the old guys?

I like fishing our senior club tour. All of our tourneys are on Thursdays.

I tried to join a club as non-boater this year and one person reached out. He said that I would be the youngest of the 15-18 boat field w/ exception of two teams. I'm 64. I decided against it. I will not accept being handicapped fishing with an old geezer. Denial is the first step to recovery, right?

At the place I retired from, whenever the young guys broke my balls, I always replied, yeah it's nice you're having fun, but the sad part is, you'll be dead before you reach my age. They wouldn't show it, but I can guarantee some thought about it afterwards

I fished a trail with a group of guys I have known for years. It was expensive as all but one tournament was out of town, we always fished on Fridays. There were a few younger guys (in their 30's) that knew the guy who did all the planning. The rest of us were either over 60 or right at it. I fished it for a couple of years with my old tournament partner. We won quite a few of them. Neither of us have great electronics. As a matter of fact the guy I fished with has a 20+ year old boat that not one gauge worked on and he had one depth finder at the console on a swivel mount. No depth finder up front and no spot lock trolling motor. We were "big timing" it when we fished out of my tin rig with two HDS 7's and the Ultrex. .

Good times, but even when we won it would barely cover the cost of an out of town trip.

I’m ok with a 6 hour event. But have to start at first light.
