Think LVS 34 transducer went bad.

I think my LVS 34 transducer went bad.
Went from awesome picture to this.
I have current software, I reloaded defaults. I have good voltage, I redid all connections. I power cycled multiple times.

I think the transducer lost a crystal or 2.
Guess I need to figure out how to start a warranty return.

Dang. I'm starting to think I made a good choice when I bought a used 32 instead of a new 34.

If you are in an area with heavy pollen, Livescope images are impacted heavily due to the particulate in the water. We are having this now in SC. It takes a few weeks every spring to work its way out of the water column.

Sure looks like a pollen problem. Seeing the same on mine and I know there is nothing wrong with mine other than all the yellow yucky stough in the water colom. Get a good hard rain and it will ge a little better ofr a day or 2, other than that weight 2 months and it will be good again. Scott

The images show to only be in about 5 feet of water. Turn gain way down for that shallow.

Had the same issues in 5 to 40 foot. When I get home I can show you what it looked like last time i used it. Crisp clean and read bottom all the way out to the edge of the screen. Also if you look second picture is 13 feet and third picture is 11 feet. Third picture gain is down to 63%. all it did was cause more of the bottom to be lost.

Recommend you contact Garmin support while you are on the water. Garmin provides great support…I was on phone with the rep and I followed his instructions and he determined that I had a bad transducer.. Garmin provided a free replacement.
