    360 Question

Thinking about ditching my HDS 10 on the bow and adding a Mega 360.
My question will the Ultrex 360 mount and transducer and a 12 in Xplore be all I need to get 360/DI and SI or do I need to get other items to make this work?
If i also put a screen at the helm then I would need a hub and network kit?

Yes, BUT the MEGA 360 connects to the Side Imaging circuit locations in the display's transducer port so you lose SI from the SI transducer. The MEGA 360 is a rotating Side Imaging transducer so it does either SI or 360, but not at the same time.
To connect the Xplore transducer and MEGA 360 to the display requires the 14 M360 2DDI Y cable.

You can share data via Ethernet and would not need the Ethernet Switch if two displays are all you will network. Only need the Ethernet Switch to have more than two Ethernet devices connected.

Do I need the Y cable to get DI or 2D?

IF you want 2D, DI, Temp from the bow location, YES. The Xplore units have a single transducer port.
You can share SI, DI, 2D and Temp from the helm if you want via Ethernet and not do the Y cable.

If you’re troller has built in us2 transducer, that’s all you need with the 360 and y cable. That’s my setup and see no reason to have anything else unless you want livescope. I see no reason to have DI when you have 360. You’ll get the temp and level and 2D from the us2 and no wires to worry about along the troller shaft.

I already have a Garmin up front for FFS, was thinking about replacing my HDS 10 with a Mega 360. Not sure I want to give up DI.
