I've fished bubblegum Zoom Super Flukes since the early 90's as well. I'm not sure why I picked that color. But it seems to me the year before I discovered the Super Fluke I was fishing Zoom Tricks in a few different colors and Merthiolate was very productive for me. I think I started with a few different colors of Super Flukes and bubblegum quickly became my favorite for how well it produced and I could see it the best in the clear water I fished back then.

I used to throw a pink spinnerbait years ago…. I know it would still work.. I just never think to try it anymore… I’m pretty stuck on green and white or blue white chartreuse….

People put to much thought in color. Throw what you have confidence in. A color change isn’t going to make that much of a difference.

I honestly believe there are times it can make a big difference. At least I've seen it make a difference enough in my own fishing to feel it can make a difference.

I noticed that Amazon has a 4 count of bladed jigs for less than $20. One of them is pink. Might be worth a shot if someone wanted to experiment with it. sponsored https://amzn.to/4bS84wo I've never used a pink bladed jig before. I imagine someone might even sell the pink skirts. You could always change out the skirts on one of the bladed jigs you already have and save a few bucks.

I started throwing pink skirted spinnerbaits a LONNNNG time ago in Spring. Still throw bubblegum worms. You can look online and buy pink skirts, it’s a bit funny seeing some thinking it’s revolutionary. It’s just a shock color people don’t think about.

I used a white chatterbait with a pink trailer from lunker city in bubblegum shad. Shaker 3.75in. My uncle said it was the ugliest thing he ever saw when i pulled it out. I commenced to spanking him all day on it with first fish being a 4lb. on the 2nd cast. This was on a small texas lake just north of fork. They like pink in texas.

Have seen times when it made all the difference.
Pink around the spawn and smallmouth has been a staple around here for years.
