    Marine Master trailer brake lines

I have a 2005 Marine Master tandem axle trailer. The brake lines are inside the frame. I’ve had this trailer for 6 years now and I need to replace the brake lines and master cylinder. What’s the trick to getting new lines in the frame or would I be better off running them on the outside of the frame? Seems they’d be easier to do a repair if I ever needed to being on the outside. Thanks

If you wanted to keep the lines on the inside of the frame.
I would tie a small diameter Nylon rope to the old brake line.
pull the old brake line out of frame.
the rope will now be in the frame.
tie the rope to the new brake line and pull it back thru the frame, this would be easier with 2 people, one pulling on rope, one pushing the new line thru.

I installed new flexible brake lines on an ‘08 marine master trailer a few years ago. I just left the existing lines in the trailer and pushed the flexible line through using a fiberglass wire running sticks from harbor freight. Those things come in super handy for running wires in a boat or trailer.

You can bet the factory has pre-bent lines that will slide through the frame. I presume they are hard lines. If you must replace them, personally, I wouldn't care if they were exposed.

I had a brake line leak that was inside the tube frame, after many years of the line vibrating inside the tube frame it started leaking, what a PIA.

I was trying to bleed the brakes for days, then my buddy noticed a oil drip coming out of the tube, the line chafed at the bend of the frame.

My next trailer has a channel frame, the lines are exposed and accessible.
