Noticed that…so it’s either a narrow boat or new box.

BC wants to live at the high end of the bass boat market so it's unlikely they will build any new boats under 20'. That's a shame for many who would like to own one but don't want or can't afford that kind of rig. The Pantera Classic is a dream rig for the majority of working anglers, but their own website describes it as a rig "for starting young anglers and those on the other end of their fishing". That means a Bass Tracker for most people so their perception of this market is a lot different than most of us. BC build a great product which is quirky and expensive and appeals to a particular group of people who like something different.

I was a Ranger guy for 20 years....I always wanted to try BassCat but couldn't get over their narrow front decks. The STS changed the game for me. Do I still think Rangers are good looking boats? FK yeah, did you see the 520 Ultra! Would I go back to Ranger no way.... unless I was forced to downsize, and it would be for the 518 which I still think it's the best 18' boat on the market.

Id love a Pantera classic IF they got rid of the white interior. I'll never own a boat with a white interior again. It's so incredibly hard to keep my boat clean right now.

So then it's a 21'-2" Lynx with the puma layout :D

I guess they do that to keep the cost down but it's a non-starter for some people. I love the quality and fit/finish of a BC, but I just don't like all the weird angles and non-symmetrical lines on their hull designs and interiors. There may be some good reasons behind all of that but it's a turnoff to me. I think choosing a boat is something like choosing a wife - get one you really like to look at because it really helps on those days when the boat/wife is driving you nuts.

If this is a lynx STS and not a sub 20ft it’s a big disappointment.
