    Help identifying lower unit

    Need help identifying a evinrude or johnson lower unit. Does have a 15 spline prop shaft so im thinking a 150, but not sure if there were some 115 hp versions with a 15 spline shaft. Casting number stamped underneath cavitation plate says 186460 and has what looks to be 88 or 38 HW. Only markings on top is a 97 surrounded by a circles of numbers from 1-12. Maybe that’s the year manufactured. Not sure. Anyone know what it is based on those numbers?
