    Active target 2 issues

    I just updated my hds pro and live units and have installed a active target 2 system. I’m getting the “no source” now on all my graphs. I have done the restoring defaults process on everything and still getting no source. Is there anything else I can try. The graph see the active target because they are telling me it has an update. I just can’t get it to do anything.

    Are the lights on the AT module?
    What software do you have in your units and the box Min Version is 23.1
    If No Lights then no power make sure the yellow wire from the AT module is either connected to a switch with 12v or the yellow is twisted to the Red wire to provide the power so the box can turn on.
    Did you turn AT on in advanced settings? Pages/Settings/System/ advanced settings
    Did you run the AT installation wizard?

    I bought my AT2 in November upgrading from an AT1. I have never had it on the water so I tested it only in my garage for brief moments to make sure everything was working. Then this 25.1 comes out. I decide to upgrade today via a SD micro card. My situation is very similar. I am hoping it is a software issue. My AT2 is connected to a HDSLive12. It also has 25.1. I have installed reinstalled and hard reset 3-5 times. “No source” at all times and the menu functions aren’t working: stop sonar, forward mode distance and depth wont change from 60’. Another thing I am noticing is my transducer is not pinging. All my lights on my module seem to be functioning correctly. I have been troubleshooting all day. It would be nice if I could figure this out quickly as I wasted an entire afternoon on it.

    Only thing I haven’t tried is AT wizard. I need to look that one up.

    Bradd, If you previously had an AT1 connected to your LIVE then your LIVE continues to look for your AT1 because it was programmed to do so. You need to go to Settings, System, and do a Restore Defaults. Restore Defaults to clear out the AT1 settings. Do a search for this on BBC and you will find the details for doing this. If that doesn't work, then try a different ethernet cable.

    My problem is fixed after 20 minutes or so on Lowrance customer support. In a nutshell, my HDSLive unit lost track of the AT2 and we don't know why. I guess the AT2 and HDS units talk very specifically to one another. This setup is by design and I didn't ask why. I don't feel confident enough to offer advice, but we did a few things on my HDSLive to find the AT2 (old software on my HDSLive). The customer support was outstanding and things are working again on 25.1. Thank you so much for the help!

    Question, do you have to be in the water when talking with Lowrance Customer service reference issues with my AT2. The girl I talked with (Shamanda) said I do. My issue I'm having is "No Source".

    I was in my garage when I tried to upgrade my HDSLive and AT2 to 25.1. I was also in my garage when I got everything fixed with Lowrance.

    Kinda what I thought, that you don't have to be on the water to get it fixed. I think the lowrance Customer Service rep just wanted off the phone. Thanks for the reply

    Update on this, Spent over an 1 1/2 on the phone with Lowrance support and was unable to resolve the issue. Looks like I'll be getting a new AT2 module. The AT1 when back in the boat and is working fine. Not a great start but at least I found out it was't the installer!
