Got out after church. Wt did get to 45. Started on my honey hole and got a 5lb. Only one there. Moved to a different spot but nothing. Check the wt by the dam and it was 2 degrees colder. Some headed to the rock refs on the north side by the campground and started to harmer them with a jig and Jerkbait!! My best 5 was 19.90 so I was really happy. Things should get really good soon.
unfortunately I’m just fishing good spots everyone knows about, wished I could find something else but I just can’t get anything going on other spots and I tried lol. Once it starts warming and more people start fishing these spots won’t be that good, but that’s ok. There was one other boat that was there but I didn’t see him catch anything. I wonder how his day was. There was also another boat that went back to the beach side. I never saw him again, I wonder how his afternoon was?
Sounds like some weather coming in Wednesday maybe a Blizzard or just rain. Hopefully everyone else is getting out. It is time!!
