It’s been gusting close to 50mph since this morning. Tired of the long drought and insane winds, makes for a delicious dirt nostril and lip snack though. West Texas needs to keep their dirt storms to themselves!

No doubt. The temp dropped pretty quick here too. It went from nice and warm to 54 in an hour.

Blew gusts to 40 on Conroe today. Ran the west side to stay out of the worst of it. Puma STS is an impressive ride. Don’t get me wrong, still a bass boat, but pretty solid and dry.

I said the same thing earlier. Won't be long and we will be hoping for 5-10mph while fishing. We anglers are never happy...

Been there done that. Second largest lake in the state has a county park boat landing if the wind blows out of the south, you will experience that kind of fun.

I have fished maybe 20 tournaments in my life and the no one cares level. I will never understand why BASS plans tournaments during the worst possible weather months? Golf follows the weather (looses sometimes like this week), but why not schedule during more moderate months? I just do not understand.

If we had rain, we’d actually have a lake with open ramps. I just told my wife that I think our region is shifting into desert. Damnest thing I’ve seen in my lifetime, lakes here haven’t bumped up in years. It will be interesting to see if they lower our annual rain fall average total.

Same. We're going into our 5th year of drought around here. Launching on many of our local lakes last year was sketchy at best. Checked on three of them this week and its not going to happen this year if we don't get some rain.

But if there wasn’t a video then we’d all be bitching cuz there was no video to confirm the incident?
