    My turn for Ghost problems

I fished yesterday and late in the day my Ghost started making a popping noise in the head, the top where the indicator is. It only makes when it's under power while turning, if the motor isn't running it sounds normal when turning and normal trolling in a straight line. When I got home, I checked all the bolts on the TM and the mounting bolts, all are tight. I called CS today and got a case number and was told to take it to a service center.

There is one about 15 minutes from me but at this time it'll be 15 days after they get it before they can look at it. There is another about an hour away who said if they had it today, they'd look at it tomorrow. It has a year left on the warranty so, after I finish fishing this spring (when the terrorists arrive at KY and Barkley lakes) I'll take it off and have it fixed. The tech seemed to think it was probably the belt. Sometimes it's your day in the barrel. LOL

I mention this because I was upgrading a bunch of wiring and batteries in my rig and when I was all done I had this grinding sound on my ghost when I got everything back up and running. Ran through the full reset procedeure and head/pedal calibration, and she was back to normal. Not sure why she lost her beans but it seems something made it go out of wack. Hasent happened since....so not sure what caused it.
