It's 20 degrees here this morning...lakes around here are frozen!! Its not even officially winter yet. I want to go fishing!!! It's interesting to note that we are still third in posting, even though 'ole man winter has his grip on our bass boats!! Please spring get here soon!!!!!

I hear that! I'm sooo bored! My business is really slow until April/May and I'm goin' nuts. Already cleaned/re-spooled the reels, re-read all the mag articles, etc. and it's still only Dec. I think I just need to move south. Also, Lure Craft moved up north (Goshen I think) and they were across the parking lot from my office. That sucks!

Dan I don't know for sure, but they should be good to go. The ponds around here are froze, but I don't think it has been cold enough to freeze over Patoka yet. It got up to 37 or so today and 48 is scheduled for tomorrow and low to mid 50's for Friday. So iced up ramps should definitely not be a problem. Hope that helps and if you go, give us a report so we know how you did!

John, John, John...now you have me thinking, I should head south to Patoka. I just moved my boat over in the garage into its "off season" spot. Hmm...now I might just have to move it back to head down there. I have all this week and all of next week off!!

I don't know if Patoka is open or not. How about you guys in S. Indiana...any "hard" water on Patoka? I would like to go next week, if their isn't any rain on the roads. All that salt would just fly up on the boat and trailer...could create a he**of a problem later on.
